About us.

The Flynn family is a much travelled family and between us we have lived or worked in most parts of the world.

We care about many things: music, theatre, literature and the arts in general, cooking, Pembrokeshire and its people, Trevaccoon, and a positive attitude to life.

Apart from working in her studio Caro enjoys walking (for which our dog is very grateful), gardening, and the company of good friends.

The Flynns first came to Pembrokeshire in 1969, fell in love with the place and the people and bought and renovated an old mill cottage near Croesgoch. Over the following years all family holidays were spent here with Eric and all the boys playing cricket for Llanrhian. Caro and her family also spent family holidays here and loved the area.

It is a close, but generous and incredibly supportive community. They are fiercely protective of their culture, their language, and the natural beauty that they live in. They have every right to be so.

Come with your eyes, your mind and your heart open, and you will find the warmest of welcomes.

In April 1998, when the prospect of taking on the task of renovating Trevaccoon and living here fulltime suddenly materialised, we had to make an instant decision.

We had no idea then, just how much work the transformation would involve – probably just as well. With much family support, (moral and financial), wonderful craftsmen, and Caro’s vision and design skills, it has all been a worthwhile success.

Trevaccoon is once again a beautiful house, and our aim is to provide an ambience of real comfort, in a beautiful and stylish setting in a unique part of the world.

We would like our guests to feel totally relaxed, slightly pampered, recharged both physically and spiritually, and determined to return.
