Caroline Flynn and Pottery

Caroline Flynn is a distinguished potter whose work has been exhibited and sold in South Africa, Germany and the United Kingdom for the last 25 years. Caroline trained as a potter and teacher in South Africa, and as well as producing her own work, has always been a successful teacher of both adults and children. Caroline’s work can be bought either from her studio at Trevaccoon, or from Jane Baigent Antiques, Stockbridge.

Courses

As a working potter instead of doing set courses, Caro offers guests interested in pottery a chance to work and learn alongside her. Beginners are most welcome as are more experienced potters. Tuition in different techniques is on offer; handbuilt or thrown work, in either earthernware or stoneware. Caro's work is thrown, high fired, coloured earthernware. At least 2 lessons of approx 2-3 hours each would be needed in order to produce something decent! These can be fitted in around weather, tides and other activities. One 3 hour session would cost £40 per person. This would include all materials etc.
